Pigeon Post Round 9 – November 2015
We have already received 15 EARLY BIRD MEMBERSHIPS so far, and if you intend joining us next year, join before the end of today’s racing and you will only pay £25. When you fill in your membership form, please include a passport photo for your new membership card. We have organised a stand at KARTMANIA in conjunction with the circuit owners, IKR and the Endurance Prokart Series at which we are launching our very interesting promotion for the 2016 season. We are maintaining our 2015 entry fee for 2016 and, of course, the new building will be fully open.
TURKEY TROT
With the reduction in race competitors this year and the spiralling costs of organising a race meeting, the club have decided not to promote this event in 2015. HOWEVER, the Clay Pigeon Raceway are organising a non-MSA TURKEY TROT CHALLENGE ON SATURDAY 12th DECEMBER 2015 to which all CPKC members are invited to take part. From the circuit: IKR Cadets and MSA Cadets use the same tyre, other classes in IKR use a less expensive control tyre so we will organise a grid of, say, MSA Rotax and a grid of IKR Rotax or, if you wish, you can hire a set of IKR tyres for the day for £25. We will have a paramedic, some IKR officials and some MSA officials – the idea is to have a safe, enjoyable, seasonal race meeting. We are ordering 20 Turkeys as prizes and all competitors will have a chance of winning one. If you are interested in competing in this event please speak to either Paul Skipp or Ian Rennison.
AWARDS EVENING and AGM – Saturday, 12th December 2015
AGM – 17:30. BUFFET PRESENTATION – 19:30 ’til late
Due to delays in the completion of the new building, we attempted to book the hotel again for a presentation dinner, but we have been informed that they are unable to accommodate us. We have, therefore, decided to organise a comprehensive buffet on the evening of the IKR Turkey Trot which will be FREE TO CLUB MEMBERS AND THOSE COLLECTING TROPHIES. To enable us to ensure we have enough food, could you please inform Chris Rennison in circuit reception if you intend on coming and the numbers in your party.
2016 – To coincide with the opening of the new CIRCUIT BUILDING, the club are organising some EXTRA SPECIAL PROMOTIONS during the 2016 Championship year – so ensure you participate in the 2016 Club Championships with arguably the largest prize find.
