The Wessex Challenge is back! Round 4 will see the inclusion of the Wessex Challenge for another year running. With many new competitors to the grid and returning ones, who will be this year's Wessex Champion?

Last year the Tillotson T4 Juniors and Seniors joined us as guests. This year we will be crowning our first Tillotson T4 Wessex Champions! With a small but fierce grid joining us throughout the year, there is plenty of 4 stroke action for this year's Wessex Challenge.

Here were the results from the 2025 Wessex Challenge / Round 4. This saw 2 grids for Junior Rotax, one on D2s and the other on Maxxis Sports and the guest round for the Tillotson T4 Juniors and Seniors.

2025 Results:

Honda Cadet - Finley Thursfield

Rotax Cadet - Oscar Churches

Intermax - Casper Mcallister

Junior Max - Archie Dyson

Junior Rotax Maxxis - Alfred Matthews

Senior Max - Jarick Metters

Tillotson T4 Junior - Ronnie Legg

Tillotson T4 Senior - Philip Rawson

The championship standings going into Round 4 / Wessex Challenge are as follows:

Honda Cadet - Callum Gaine

Rotax Cadet - Alexander Radoicovici

Intermax - Ben Hunt

Junior Rotax - Alfred Matthews

Senior Rotax - Luke Richards

Tillotson T4 Junior - Angus Langley

Tillotson T4 Senior - Brad Philpot

Plenty of points still up for grabs.

Throughout 2025 we started using the Alpha Race Hub App and we are continuing this year also. The app gives us the opportunity to announce news or updates during the race meeting straight to your phones so you don't miss out. You can also enter race meetings and more via the app, so make sure to download it before you join us this weekend.

Clay Pigeon Raceway have been looking for more marshals to come help us out during race meetings or practice days. If this is something you were interested in and are 16 or over, please get in contact with Clay Pigeon via email: enquiries@claypigeonraceway.com or ask a Staff member on your next visit.

The Kart Shack will be open once again during the club round, with even more than last time! More stock, more parts, more help. If you have forgotten anything or simply need to fix your kart, including straightening with their new jig table, please make sure to give them a visit.

Not able to visit Clay Pigeon Raceway this weekend? We have you covered on Sunday! We will have our Live Track View livestream over on our YouTube channel which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/@ClayPigeonKartClub
