After an absolute scorcher of a weekend, Round 6 has been raced at Costa-Del-Clay!
With 71 drivers competing in total at temperatures eventually reaching over the 30 degree mark, there was some great racing in all classes.
Some great sized grids including our biggest one with Intermax, some of our cadets moving up to this grid mid-season.
We really do appreciate all the continued support by our regular and also to the new competitors who race with us each month! This season so far has been brilliant, thank you!
Lots of changes happening in the championship now. The drop rounds are starting to come into affect and really mixing up the table. Don't panic, it's not an error!
Let's go through the changes after Round 6...
Honda Cadet:
With 5 Honda Cadet driver's in this championship, each round we see changes. As mentioned though, the drop rounds are starting to become a play with these changes.
Heading into this round, Callum Gaine was leading the championship on a healthy 494 points to count. Gaine unfortunately was not here for this round to defend his lead in this year's championship. So coming in with a 55 point lead was not enough with Elliott Dowling now taking the lead moving up from that 2nd position up to 1st. He now sits on a 90 point lead with 584. Gaine 2nd sitting with that 494 points. Francesca Cridge has been making moves each round, with even winning last round. She moves up once again in the championship close behind Gaine with 472 points, up to 3rd. Zach Service moves up ahead of Rio Fry, who has now moved to Intermax, with 348 points. Rio Fry now sits 5th in the championship with 327 points as his focus is now on that Intermax class.
So your order for this championship is as follows:
1st | Elliot Dowling | 584
2nd | Callum Gaine | 494
3rd | Francesca Cridge | 472
4th | Zach Service | 348
5th | Rio Fry | 327
Rotax Cadet:
To the 2 stroke side of Cadets now as we talk about the changes in this class. 5 members in this championship also with a new entry to the table.
Before we get to the new entry, let's talk about the leader of this championship. Alexander Radoicovici has continued to extend his lead after Round 6. Coming in with 466 points, he rises to 611! 145 points extracted from his racing. Radoicovici has been leading since his entry from Round 3 and has yet to be caught. He now leads this championship by 107 points to Jackson Haines in P2 with 504 points. Alfie Mullett and Jonny Butterfill unchanged in positions as neither were in attendance for this round. Meanwhile our new entry of Callum Gaine enters this championship with 156 points. A strong start to his season with 3 races to go.
Championship as follows:
1st | Alexander Radoicovici | 611
2nd | Jackson Haines | 504
3rd | Alfie Mullett | 292
4th | Jonny Butterfill | 176
5th | Callum Gaine | 156
Intermax:
Moving onto our consistently large grid of competitive drivers in the Intermax class now.
Heading into round 6, Ben Hunt was leading the championship 80 points ahead of his fellow competitors. After Round 6, he is sill leading with that same 80 point lead. This is due to those drop rounds coming into affect, which Round 5 and 6 are currently being dropped from his points. With that though, he is still 1st in the Intermax championship with 679 points. Behind with 599 points is Ethan McNally-Roberts and Nikita Roberts. Yes, both drivers currently sitting on the same points in this championship. McNally-Roberts up to 2nd whilst Roberts moves down to "3rd" according to Alpha. Despite Nikita Roberts having a total of 725 vs McNally-Roberts with 724 overall. Moving to 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th in the championship. These spots remain unchanged with Thomas Roscorla holding 4th with 529 points, Harrison Randall 15 points behind with 514, Roman Takata with 472 points and Jan Hamera in 7th with 434 points. Meanwhile at the bottom of the top 8 we have Morgan Weston who moved up to 8th after this round with 380 points in total after starting his championship on the Wessex Challenge weekend.
So the top 8 as follows:
1st | Ben Hunt | 679
2nd | Ethan McNally-Roberts | 599
3rd | Nikita Roberts | 599
4th | Thomas Roscorla | 529
5th | Harrison Randall | 514
6th | Roman Takata | 472
7th | Jan Hamera | 434
8th | Morgan Weston | 380
Tillotson T4 Junior:
We were pleasantly joined by 10 drivers in the T4 Juniors as the grid slowly finds it's feet throughout this year.
Even with the drop rounds coming into play, we saw no movement in our top 3 positions. Heading into Round 6 Angus Langley, Leo Belimenko and Jenson Turnock were our top 3, and still are! Langley now sits with 669 points leading Belimenko by 40 points. Followed by Turnock in 3rd with 569 points. Moving down towards 8th in the championship there is plenty of changes. David Welsh came into this round 6th in the championship and after a decent day with points sees him move up into 4th. He sits there with 537 points leading Niall Green, who moved up to 5th, by 27 points. Green was sitting at 8th before this round. Freddy Denton is down to 6th in this championship after not being here for Round 6, unable to defend his position. This will be his drop round though, so don't count him out. Denton with 492 points which is 27 points ahead of Majka Domagala, who also has fallen down the order, with 465 points. 8th in the championship is Ivan Masliakovas. He moves up to 8th as the rest of the championship goers have not been here since Round 2/3.
The T4 Juniors as follows:
1st | Angus Langley | 669

Senior Rotax:
Ending out on our last class racing from Round 6, Senior Rotax. Changes only being seen at the bottom half of the table.
Our top 3 in the championship have raced all rounds so far. But the drop rounds are playing an affect on the points. Luke Richards remains in 1st position in the championship. 672 points to his name being 60 points clear of Bertie Wellesley. Both of their points remain unchanged after round 5 due to the drop rounds. Archie Dyson claims some points back to Wellesley with 602 points. Dyson sits a near 10 points behind in 3rd. Billy Edgecombe and Henry Moore have not been present for the last 2 rounds. Thanks to their strong start in the season their positions remain unchanged as they continue to sit in 4th and 5th. Chase Rainsbury climbs up the order sitting 8 points behind Moore. 501 points to count for the 6th position driver. Harvey Murden also climbs up into the top 8 with 498 points. This championship changes every single round, and we still have 3 more rounds to go. Round 7 starts 9th August 2026.
