What a Turnout!

We had a fantastic turnout at Round 4 for the first round of the Rotax Regional Champs (South West) which had us hosting 94 drivers, our best turnout in a long time. The weather didn’t know what to do which left many of the drivers relying on a best guess for the finals, in ever-changing conditions, as to what tyres and setup to run, with a notable win going to Jodene Newman, the only driver who ran slicks in the Senior Rotax Final, taking the top step after starting 9th, spinning out and clawing her way back! – many congratulations to you!

The day had its drama though, with stringent MSA regulations finding fault with some of the top drivers of the day, leaving the Rotax 177 result provisional pending the result of an appeal at Motor Sports House. For the other classes, the results were official as of Sunday evening and the championship tables have now been updated to include the results of the Round.

We still have memberships coming in with every member signing on at our race meetings getting a ticket in the pot for our end of year raffle. Remember, the more times you race with us this year, the more tickets you’ll have, its just another reason to come back to Clay round on round.

The ticket list has been updated as you can see below, all of you are in with a chance to win the fantastic 66 reg Mazda 2 SEL, supplied by Wey Valley Mazda of Weymouth.

Entries for Round 5 are already open and have already started to come in. Get your entries in nice and early!
