The Day Round 1 should have been…

What a day of racing!

The weather, albeit cold and a little blustery, held off just long enough that all of the races were dry and allowed all competitors to really give it their all for the start of the season. Well, until the 177’s wanted their final, then the clay ecosystem kicked into gear just to spite them! (We aren’t sure who did what to deserve rain and hail while they’re all on slicks, but they probably deserved it!) Fantastic job by all of those drivers to keep it on the black stuff and make it to the chequered!

Results are still provisional at the time this post is being published, but they can be found over on our Alpha Timing results page at

Congratulations to our victors of today, especially the 177’s – you’ve all earned it!

Thank you to all of our Marshals, Officials, Competitors, Volunteers, Medics, Staff, Spectators and Live Stream viewers (pretty sure that’s everyone) who were able to enjoy the racing today, even if you didn’t enjoy the wind chill.

Our next event is Round 3 on the 10th April, and entries are already open over on our Alpha Registration page – we look forward to seeing you there!
