That was a weekend to remember!

Regardless of what side of the fence you were on (or what side of the officials door), I’m sure we can all agree its a weekend we won’t be forgetting in a long time!

With it being the Wessex Championship, and the final club race weekend before the Super One British Championships grace the Clay Pigeon Raceway, we knew it would be a big one – but we were still stunned with the average turnout of 187 drivers for the weekend, with all classes requiring a cap on entries in the final week to make sure we could fit you all in!

We have to say a huge thank you to all of our Marshals and Officials who came from all over to ensure this event ran smoothly, but we also have to include a special thanks to the staff of the Clay Pigeon Raceway who went the extra mile and helped out, where they could, on the weekend. Lastly, Congratulations, of course, to our Wessex Champions of 2018!

But for now, we have 3 weeks of peace, quiet and rest until the next major event of the Clay Pigeon Kart Club 2018 calendar, when we host the British Championships on 2nd – 3rd of June. Spectators are more than welcome for both race days at a reasonable cost. If anyone has not entered and wants to race, please contact Super One directly to enquire.
