With the staff and equipment of the British Kart Championships safely back at their headquarters, all that is left to say is thank you!
The weekend bought some amazing action on the track, and some amazing equipment off of it, with the latest in video technology being used to ensure all decisions were made as fairly as possible.
Congratulations to all of the winners this weekend, especially our club members 😉; Jez Williams (Vision Motorsport), dominating the weekend with wins in both rounds, 9 and 10, in Minimax. Tom Adams (Coles) and Kai Hunter (DHR) for their Junior Max wins. Rhys Hunter (DHR) and Oakley Pryer (Team Clay) for their wins in Senior Max. And Matteo Zanetti (TWM) and Ethan Haynes (Team Clay) for winning rounds 9 and 10 in the 177s.
All thats really left to say is thank you! Thanks to everyone at the Karting UK for allowing us to continue our proud history of hosting the British Kart Championship in their maiden year. Thank you to J.A.G Rotax for their support of and presence at the series, as well as their support for us in general. It was fantastic to see you here again and we hope the weekend was everything you could have hoped for. Last, but by no means least, a huge thank you to the staff and management of the Clay Pigeon Raceway for all their help and support in ensuring the British Championships were able to grace our doorstep once more.
If you’re still coming down from the weekend, you’ll be happy to know that the British Karting Championships have announced when the footage from Round 10 will be available. Check outthe picture below, selfishly stolen from the British Kart Championships Facebook page.
