Our weekends are about to get a lot more exciting as we count down the weeks to Round 1 of the Clay Pigeon Kart Club 2016 Championship!
We have had our last committee meeting before the round on 13th March and we are making our final preparations for the 2016 season, first on the announcements is the appointment of our Race ‘n’ Respect officer, Martyn Sheppard.
Race ‘n’ Respect Martyn is usually running his son, Bradley, during the race day, but has volunteered his time to help reinforce the nature of the Race ‘n’ Respect campaign. Martyn will be on hand to help deal with any complaints that may arise and can be found around the track, alternatively, just pop into the Circuits building (where you sign on) and we can track him and put him to work.

Rotax 177 Entries Secondly, for all you 177’s out there who are coming back to take part in our 2016 championship, and all you newcomers after our fantastic racing atmosphere and comradery that the drivers have to offer, due to popular demand, the 177 Max and 177 Masters classes will have a combined Championship this year. When signing up for Round 1, please select ‘Rotax 177’ from the class/championship selection where you can chose a sub-class/champ of ‘M’ for Rotax 177, or ‘Mas’ for Rotax 177 Masters. This will only need to be done for the first round as the previous, split championships have been disabled for Rounds 2-9. For those of you who have already entered, we have already moved your entry over, you don’t need to do anything.
Entries are Live! Don’t forget that entries for Round 1 are live and you can enter with as little as a few clicks using our online entry, supplied by Alpha Timing. The memberships we have so far have been entered into the online registration system, if you find that you are not offered the member rate when registering, please contact us by phone or on facebook and we can get the issue resolved as soon as possible.
Memberships For those of you who don’t yet have a membership for the year, or those who have a membership elsewhere, being a member with us has never been so rewarding! Not only are our membership rates one of the cheapest around, you get the standard perks of discounted entry and automatic enrolment into our championship, with the little addition of the chance to win a Mazda 2 SEL with every event entry!
