Just a reminder for this year's biggest Clay club event. Our Cancer Research double header is on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of July. Last year was a fantastic weekend with brilliant entries across all classes raising over £7,000 for Cancer Research. Put it in your diary now!!!

Sorry we couldn't get the results online during the day, or have the live timing available on the website. Unfortunately we had problems with our Internet access at the circuit yesterday.

Online entries are here!

Entering online only takes 5 minutes. There are no forms to sign or send off, and you'll receive instant confirmation that your entry has been received.

Payments are processed safely and securely via PayPal. You can pay either directly from your PayPal balance if you already have an account, or by Credit or Debit card. A Paypal account is not required if you pay by card.

Entry fees are as follows:

£49 for club members
£54 for non-members
£39 for novice drivers

These include a £2 surcharge to cover payment processing fees

Mike Wellington update

After Mike's very serious accident nearly three weeks ago, he is no longer in a coma and is out of danger. However, he is still in a very serious condition with no knowing how long or how full a recovery he will make. He is making small steps of progress. Many thanks for all of the kind messages and support.

We've heard of rumours circulating that next weekend's meeting, November 11th, has been cancelled. We'd obviously like to clarify that this is not the case; the meeting will be going ahead as usual!

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped with last weekend's Cancer Memorial event. Subject to receipt of some pledged amounts, we have raised a little over £6000!

This is a fantastic result, and we'd like to thank everyone who attended. We look forward to inviting you all back next year!

Thanks to everyone for attending this weekend on behalf of our annual charity event, we are still adding up the total raised and will report again soon, it was fantastic to see so many there, regulars and visitors alike and hopefully everyone had a good weekend of racing.

Despite a dramatic looking clash with the barriers I am glad to report I have spoken with the driver from Snr Max who is at home and recovering from a broken shoulder and potential dislocation of his second shoulder and having a brief spell at home, seems like a difficult way to get a couple of weeks off work but at least he is ok.

CPKC want to thank everyone who supported the event and donated items, cash or prizes, there are too many to list individually here but we are VERY grateful and know that this has helped to make this a superb event and hopefully the best so far in terms of money raised for Cancer Research UK We hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ and F1 driver challenge - well done to the challenge winners.

We are also very grateful to the owners of the competition cars who kindly lent their vehicles which were of great value and history - hopefully you all enjoyed looking over them. - We hope we shall have more photos to follow soon

Once again we were blessed with good weather and the little rain that did arrive stayed away until long after the close of the meeting. The format seems to have gone down well with drivers and spectators and we now have to start planning next years event.
